Its imaginative packaging stretches beyond the main feature, including its CMs (sadly the only place Harada gets to use the assault rifle — but if you want more of that, check Kadokawa’s other main idol star Hiroko Yakushimaru in 1981’s Sailor Suit and Machine Gun ) and the tagline 男の傷口に、女がしみた (roughly, “In a man’s deep wound, a woman cut deeper.”) But the way it’s centred around a saloon/bar that attracts all kinds of shady elements led by a vaguely heroic outlaw loner alongside the distinctly stylised, sometimes eccentric dialogue and obstinate female lead places this as something of a half-gangster, half-youth pop cinema Johnny Guitar (1954)
